ISO 19650 set up, then kept running.

In Dubai, the permit drawings for new buildings above the circular's thresholds must now be extracted from the BIM model. A model without managed information produces permit drawings you can't defend.

02 / Information management

Every file in its state, every move signed.

ISO 19650 set up properly, then kept running. Work in progress, shared, published, archived: each move checked against ISO 19650 naming before it happens.

03 / What you get

Five pieces of work, each with an owner.

  1. 01

    Circular 9-1-3 readiness

A readiness review checks your EIR, BEP and CDE set-up against the circular and ISO 19650-2. You get a ranked gap list with the fix for each item.

  2. 02

    Information requirements

OIR, AIR and EIR written for your project, so appointed parties know what to deliver, in what form and when. Requirements trace back to a decision someone has to make.

  3. 03

    BEP reviews

Appointed parties' BEPs reviewed against your EIR. Each comes back accepted, accepted with comments or returned. A returned BEP lists the EIR clause it fails.

  4. 04

    CDE workflows and naming

Containers move through 4 states: work in progress, shared, published and archive. We set up the CDE so each transition has an owner and a check. Naming follows the client's standard.

  5. 05

    Audits to ISO 19650

Monthly model and container audits: naming, status, revision, metadata and who moved what. Each month closes with a compliance report and a list of open items, each with an owner.

04 / Why it matters now

Why it matters now

From 1 April 2026, Circular 9-1-3 requires BIM models for new buildings taller than Ground + 12 floors or with 15,000 sqm or more of built area. Permit drawings must be extracted from the model and match it.
